The home of a couple recently overflowed with emotions as they welcomed a set of twins after 24 years of waiting.
The couple identified as Mr. and Mrs. Chikezie Akah welcomed a boy and a girl to the joy of many.
Friends and relatives who gathered to celebrate with them were also full of praise to God for the enduring couple as they welcomed their bundle of joy.

During the celebratory gathering which had close friends and families in attendance, a jubilant Mrs. Akah seized the opportunity to appreciate her husband for standing by her throughout their wait.
According to her, her husband Chyko as he’s fondly called has been very supportive even though she had the child bearing challenge.
Speaking in her native Igbo language, the emotional mother of twins also thanked her in-laws for being patient, kind and not troublesome.
Chikezie’s sister, Nonye Akah Ijeoma, who excitedly shared the good news on Facebook called on the public to celebrate with her brother’s family.
According to Nonye, the arrival of the twins means a lot for their 94-year-old father who already had 27 grandchildren from 9 of his 10 children. The birth of the twin babies now take the number of grandchildren in the family to 29.
Nigerian couple welcomes twins after 13 years of marriage
Nigerian pastor, Evangelist Adakole and his wife Patience Inyamuwa Ikpe have welcomed a set of twins after waiting for 13 years after marriage.
It was a cause for celebration when the couple’s family member, Evelyn Ene Oche, took to Facebook to share pictures from the naming ceremony.

She captioned it saying, “The naming ceremony of our miracle twins after 13 years of marriage. God is indeed faithful and he’s too faithful to fail. Congratulations Pastor Adakole and Mrs Patienec Inyamuwa Ikpe for the gift of these adorable twins. Their names are Emmanual Ofukondu Ikpe (my dada’s namesake) and Emmanuella Ehikondu Ikpe (my daughter’s namecy Ehikondu). May God bless and keep you both in strength, wisdom and health.”
According to reports, the naming ceremony for the twins was held last week in Benue state.
