Alejandro Garnacho was Manchester United’s saviour as the side beat Fulham 1-2 on Sunday in a Premier League match at Craven Cottage.
The 18-year-old was a 72nd-minute substitute, replacing Anthony Martial, who started the match.
Christian Eriksen had put the Red Devils ahead in the 14th minute before Daniel James levelled for Fulham in the 61st minute.
The match had remained 1-1 before Garnacho stole the headlines by putting the ball beyond Bernd Leno in the third minute of added time.
The goal is his first in the Premier League.
Manchester United are now fifth with 26 points, while Fulham are ninth with 19 points.
Earlier in the day, Aston Villa continued their Premier League revival by beating Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 at the Amex Stadium.
The Unai Emery-led side were down in the first minute after Alexis MacAllister scored for Brighton. However, Danny Ings levelled for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 20th minute.
Villa then scored the decisive goal in the 54th minute via Ings.
Brighton are seventh with 21 points, while Aston Villa are 12th with 18 points.
