Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has called for a peaceful approach to the ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance trending with the hashtag #EndBadGovernance.
The actress, married to billionaire businessman and senator Ned Nwoko, addressed the issue in a video shared on her Instagram page, coinciding with the protests that began on August 1, 2024.

Regina Daniels acknowledged the widespread suffering and desire for improved living conditions among Nigerians, which have fueled the protests.

While she supports the right to protest, she cautioned against the use of violence, stating that it undermines the protest’s purpose.
In her message, she urged fellow Nigerians to keep the peace, emphasizing that a non-violent protest is crucial for ensuring that the grievances of the people are heard and addressed. She captioned her video with a heartfelt appeal: “A PLEA FOR A PEACEFUL PROTEST 🙏.”
