The ‘20 10 20 ‘ crooner made this statement in a video following his back and forth with netizens about his conspicuous absence in the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.

Recall that after Burna Boy was called out for not participating in the protests, he explained that the fight in him died in October of 2020.

He said in a new video that he wasn’t an activist and that he was just a regular person who was touched by the situation of the country.

His comments rubbed some netizens the wrong way as they noted that he is using the pain of the country for clout.
