After high school, Moussa pursued higher education at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. Being accepted to such an internationally recognised college for design, fashion, art, communications, and business required her to remain in the US. That is how she came to live in the U.S. before she turned 20, having lived in Russia and spent some time in the U.K.

Today, Mousse works as a fashion stylist with fashion houses, fashion magazines, and influential fashion brands in styling their models. While speaking to Daily Beast, Gutfeld said: “When I saw her, I said to the editor of Maxim Russia, ‘Who is this woman?’ And I foolishly hit on her for three days.
“She was pretty cold to me, and finally I asked her out on a date and then she moved to London to be with me.”
The duo tied the knot in a civil union in New York City following a five-month courtship. Subsequently, Gutfeld departed London in 2006 when Maxim UK chose not to extend his agreement.
