“Paul actually advised quite differently
1 Corinthians 7:8-9
[8]But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I.
[9]But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”
@smallbiniman concurred:
“Yes, people should actually get rid of the spirit of lust BEFORE getting married”
@spaceex72 proposed:
“Instead of spirit of lust why not say habit of lust”
@iam_kinglambo said:
“But it will solve 80 percent of sleeping around and masturbation.”
@elvisosho noted:
“You’ve told us what not to do, but you haven’t told us what to do”
Don’t rush into marriage to escape temptation. The spirit of lust does not respect wedding rings!
