Victony, in an interview with HipTv, credited Davido for being a constant source of support throughout his career, particularly during challenging times.

The “Soweto” crooner revealed that Davido was a pillar of strength after his involvement in a severe accident a few years ago.

“When the accident happened he came through in his little way… We have established a stronger relationship since then,” he disclosed.

Davido’s kindness and generosity continued when he invited Victony to perform at his concert at the prestigious O2 Arena.

The singer also shared that he had known Davido before his rise to fame in the music industry.

He attended Victony’s album listening party and was a regular at the hangout spot where Victony’s manager, Alhaji, would take him.

“He brought me out at the O2 arena in 2022 and he was at the [album] listening as well,” he said.
