Social media personality, Daniel Regha has weighed in on Chidimma Adetshina’s win as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, expressing skepticism about the outcome of the pageant.
Chidimma Adetshina, who contested as Miss Taraba, emerged victorious in the competition, securing the crown after finishing in the top three alongside Miss Edo and Miss Rivers.
Her triumph, however, has sparked debate, particularly after it was revealed that she joined the competition at the last minute.
Daniel Regha, known for his candid opinions, shared his thoughts on the matter, suggesting that Chidimma’s victory was predictable and raised questions about fairness.
Regha argued that her late entry into the competition overshadowed the efforts of other contestants, making their chances of winning slim from the moment she participated.
“Honestly speaking, it just feels too predictable & so wrong that Chidimma, who became a contestant last minute, is being crowned the winner of Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. Other contestants didn’t really stand a chance the moment she entered the competition & that’s the truth,” Regha stated.
Regha’s comments have sparked conversations among fans and followers of the pageant, with some agreeing with his viewpoint, while others have defended Chidimma’s victory, emphasizing her talent and poise that led her to win the crown.

@Gracey : “Can’t deny that she was top 15 in South Africa so she didn’t need the audition. Also, she was invited and she did better than many. So at the end of the day, she did win at her own merit.”
@MONEY: “Nigerian won’t accept it but truth be told she don’t deserve to win”
@N.I: “That competition isn’t fairly judged.”
@Priscillia Oduwa: “I think she doesn’t deserve to win though. It’s a pity vote
