Media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, known as Daddy Freeze, has weighed in on singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, and his substantial donation to Christ Embassy Church.

Rema made headlines by contributing N105 million to the church in Benin during his Thanksgiving service, an act that sparked significant public discussions.

Daddy Freeze, known for his critical views on religious institutions, has commented on the donation, suggesting that Rema’s contribution should have even been greater.

Freeze praised Rema for giving back to the church that supported his family during a challenging period.

In his response, Daddy Freeze noted that Rema’s donation was a way of acknowledging the church’s earlier support, which included opening a shop for Rema’s mother after the death of his father when Rema was just eight years old.

Freeze wrote, “Unlike you going to sow your seed in church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him. As far as I’m concerned, he should have given them more. God bless the pastor that sowed into his family.”
