After the break, Haaland scored his second goal by sliding in to convert Julian Alvarez’s cross, but Chelsea responded, with Nicolas Jackson burying a rebound.

Rodri thought he had won it for the visitors when his shot deflected off Silva and into the net. Palmer, however, converted a penalty kick in the third minute of injury time to steal a point.

Despite conceding late on, City maintain their lead at the top of the table, one point ahead of Liverpool heading into the international break. Chelsea, on the other hand, are in 10th place, 10 points off the top four.
