Carly Hallam is an American actress and screenwriter known for Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013), The Neighborhood (2018) and New Low (2010). However, she is best known for being the wife of Daniel Tosh, a comedian, television host, and producer of the Tosh.0 show.

Hallam began her writing career at Tosh.0, a show produced and hosted by Daniel Tosh where he provides documentaries on online viral video clips, stereotypes, celebrities, societies and popular cultures. Tosh.0 premiered on Comedy Central on June 4, 2009. Hallam appeared in nine episodes of the show.
In 2010, Hallam featured in the film, New Low. Then she began to to write for the hit series, Brooklyn Nine-Nine in 2013. She also wrote comic articles for online sources such as McSweeney’s.
