Babcock University has honoured one of its brightest students as the best graduating student from her set. The student, Moyinoluwa Ikotun, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics with an exceptional 4.87 GPA out of the obtainable 5 points.
The academic star celebrated her achievement on her LinkedIn page as she stated that she stood and maintained the position at the top of her class throughout her four years in school.
“I maintained being the top of my class for 4 years and graduated with a 4.87 CGPA. Whilst in school, I took on the Accounting Technician Scheme West Africa Exam and I became a certified Associate Accounting Technician,” Moyinoluwa explained.

Explaining further, she noted that whilst in school, she had taken the Accounting Technician Scheme West Africa Exam to become a certified Associate Accounting Technician.
She disclosed that she served in several capacities with a singular aim to impact her community while in school.
“I engaged in a variety of activities during my four years at university that complemented my studies. I served as the course representative of my class Babcock Finance Society President, and graduating class financial secretary,” she stated.
Moyinoluwa who said she started her academic journey as an “above-average student” said she “made a last-minute, unforeseen change in career plans.”
Young Nigerian mother bags double first class honours in Law
Meanwhile, a young Nigerian mother, Oluwabusola Ayeni, has taken to Twitter to celebrate becoming a double first-class holder.
Recall that the Nigerian Law School released the 2022 Bar Part II results, where 119 students bagged a double first class.
In the tweet shared by Ayeni, she revealed that she was part of the 119 students to bag first class.
