He started practising playing the piano at the age of four, progressed to the sixth grade of Conservatory Music in piano class and began utilising the Suzuki method. His supportive family supported him and he received encouragement from his parents as he pursued his passion for acting. Dier’s determination led him to enrol in acting classes and workshops, where he honed his skills and prepared himself for a career in the entertainment industry.

Dier attended London South Collegiate Institute. During his time there, he showcased his exceptional skills in the school talent show. In addition, he attained a first-dan black belt in Taekwondo.

Dier began his acting career at a young age, appearing in commercials and local theatre productions. He gained recognition for his role as “Luke Matheson” in the TV series “Ravenswood” (2013-2014), which is a spin-off of the popular show, “Pretty Little Liars”.

In 2006, Dier made his movie debut in “Family in Hiding”, in which he portrayed the character “Matt Peterson”. The following year, he appeared in “Seventeen and Missing” and “The Secrets of Comforting House”. In 2008, he landed the role of “Caden” in “Every Second Counts” and served as an alternate Clark Kent in “Smallville.” He also played the character “Derek Edlund” in “Fear Itself”.

In 2010, Dier had a brief cameo as a breakdancer in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. He made appearances in “Made: The Movie” and “Meteor Storm”.
