Biography
Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, aka Bobrisky, was born on August 31, 1991.
He had his secondary education at King’s College, Lagos and Okota High School, Lagos. He had his university education at the University of Lagos, where he studied accounting.
He was born into a polygamous family. He is the youngest child. Although he was raised in a Muslim home, he chose to be a Christian.
Career
Bobrisky worked as a choreographer while still a student at university.
He made money by teaching people how to dance. He also went to a number of dance events. He was named Best Dressed Male at his faculty and the University of Lagos, and he quickly rose to prominence in the school.
He began his career by operating a beauty shop in Ikeja, Lagos. He also used his sense of style to acquire and sell garments.
He went into the field of beauty therapy and makeup art full-time. He dressed strangely as part of his marketing strategy to attract predominantly female consumers to his store.
He also sells bleaching cream, which he named Bobrisky Bleaching Cream. The cream has become an international commodity as it is exported to countries like Germany and the United Kingdom. He claims that the cream, which costs $400, sells out every day.

Bobrisky rose to prominence thanks to his Snapchat account, where he posted a slew of provocative and viral videos.
He was the most searched individual from October to November 2016.
His Snapchat account could get a lot of traffic because of his controversial personality, especially on social media. Despite this, he has claimed that he earns money in different ways. Selling $400 ‘Bobrisky Bleaching Cream,’ filming short video clips, selling clothes in her boutique, serving as a brand ambassador for multi-million firms, and organising events are just some of the things he does.
Since his rise to fame, Bobrisky has been met with conflicting reactions since he has many supporters and detractors.
However, a Nigerian presidential aide walked out of a mansion after spotting Bobrisky inside on an occasion. Bobrisky surgery
He underwent liposuction surgery to enhance his looks. He also underwent some surgery to help him have a more feminine look.
He confirmed the surgery on his social media page. He wrote about the pain he has had to go through after his surgery. He stated that the pain is unbearable and that the worst for him is that he has to sleep in one position all day.

Bobrisky controversies
In 2017, the crossdresser confirmed that the police detained him at Lekki, Lagos State.
The arrest came shortly after he came out as gay on social media. Many Nigerians linked his arrest to the statement he made.
However, he spoke out in an interview with Linda Ikeji that the real reason he was arrested was the petition written against him by his rival, Toyin Lawani.
According to him, he stated that Toyin Lawani accused him of stealing her customers. Toyin Lawani has since denied allegations that she had anything to do with his arrest.
Bobrisky was arrested in 2020 by a team of policemen from Abuja around Lekki over some money issues with a woman.
It was reported that he had an altercation with the Nigerian woman who lives abroad over the sales and sponsorship of a fake eyelash brand.
In a statement released by the Police spokesman at the time, DCP Frank Mba, he stated that he was arrested following a petition by a Nigerian woman overseas claiming that the crossdresser collected the sum of N30 million from her and did not keep to his own end of the deal.
He was taken to a Police station on the island, detained and later granted bail.
In 2021, Bobrisky and best friend Tonto Dikeh had a falling out. The fallout was shared on social media. He stated that the actress and mother of one owed him a sum of N5 million, which she refused to pay back. He also stated that the actress was broke.
He, however, later took to his social media page to apologise to the actress for calling her out.
In the post, he stated that he humiliated the actress and did not know what came over him, but he realised his mistakes. He further noted that the actress was there for him at some point in his life. In addition to the statement, he said they did not necessarily need to be friends anymore, but he was apologising to his fans and her fans.
Meanwhile, Tonto Dikeh is yet to respond to his apology.
Bobrisky and James Brown also had a fallout. In an interview with OAP Daddy Freeze, he stated that he made James Brown, another crossdresser, who he is.
He further stated that he posted James Brown on his Instagram page when people condemned the crossdresser.
James Brown also acknowledged that he and Bobrisky used to be very close, and he also admitted to liking him in the past. James Brown stated that Bobrisky became jealous when he moved to the UK to study.
In addition, the crossdresser also stated that he had overthrown Bobrisky, and he is now the queen.
Taking to his Instagram page, Bobrisky wished James Brown the best in his education and urged him to hurry up and graduate so they could celebrate together.
