On April 2, 2018, Matt created his YouTube channel with the hope of revolutionising the concept of content creation on digital platforms. His first video was uploaded on April 7, 2018, and was entitled: “San Juan, Puerto Rico Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas.” It flopped with only 937 views and 124 likes, as of August 10, 2022.

However, Matt was not discouraged. He continued to upload videos and now, he has over 386000 subscribers, making him one of the most successful blind YouTube stars of the 21st century.
