AMVCA 2024: Femi Adebayo's 'Jagun Jagun' wins best indigenous language film award 1

Nollywood actor and director Femi Adebayo’s film Jagun Jagun has won the award for the best indigenous language film (West Africa) at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Jagun Jagun beat Kunle Afolayan’s Ijogbon and Odunlade Adekola’s Orisa to win the award on Saturday night.

Femi Adebayo, who received the award, thanked AMVCA and all the cast and crew of Jagun Jagun, promising to go harder.

“AMVCA, thank you. To the cast and crew of Jagun Jagun, thank you; we are unstoppable. We are going harder,” he said.

This is the second award won by Jagun Jagun at the 2024 AMVCA.

Lola Awe won the best costume design for the movie.
